Nick Borchert — Editor-in-Chief
Nick Borchert is a senior at Augustana College majoring in English and philosophy and minoring in French. He is also a captain on Augustana’s track and field team. After graduation, he would like to study English and American literature in graduate school.
Margaret Foley — Editorial Board
Margaret Foley is currently a junior at Augustana College majoring in English. After college, she hopes to grow her own food, write poetry, and play her violin as much as possible.
Lindsey Haines — Editorial Board
Lindsey Haines is currently a junior at Augustana College, and she is majoring in Classics and English Literature.
Katharine O’Connor — Editorial Board
Katharine O’Connor is a senior at Augustana College, majoring in English. After college, Katharine plans to attend graduate school where she would prepare for a career in teaching.
Dana Swanson — Editorial Board
Dana is a senior majoring in Sociology and English. She is very interested in the way people interact with the environment and she spent her last summer interning at an organic farm.
Jaron Gaier — Editorial Board
Jaron is a sophomore at Augustana, studying English. He enjoys reading and writing, listening and speaking, making noise and music.
Katie Fick — Editorial Board
Katie is a senior studying English and Spanish. In addition to her studies, she enjoys her time in the Augustana Choir. Last year, she learned a lot from living in Augustana’s eco-friendly house, Local Culture House #1. Next year, she hopes to begin her teaching career by teaching English abroad.
Leah Mortenson — Editorial Board
Leah Mortenson is a junior at Augustana College, majoring in Environmental Communication and minoring in French. After school she hopes to travel the world, have a garden, and bake and knit a lot.
Jason Peters — Faculty Advisor
Jason Peters is Professor of English at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he teaches both British and American literature. His work has appeared in, among other places, Orion, the Sewanee Review, the South Atlantic Quarterly, the University Bookman, and Christianity and Literature. He is also the editor of Wendell Berry: Life and Work (University Press of Kentucky 2007).
